Elisabeth Copeland

Elisabeth Copeland has built a business for the past 24 years retraining TBs after the racetrack.  She has taken on many horses who would otherwise have had a bleak outcome and giving the time, attention and the retraining to succeed in second careers. Our goal now as breeders of Tbs is to give each of our horses a solid foundation no matter what they do in life they have good training.  We believe in the total process from birth through racing to retiring into new career.  After our horses race we will help them transition to whatever riding career will suit them best.    Elisabeth's passion is what created Cleveland Yard and now shares it with her two  daughters Olivia and Ella, who help in the day to day operations.  Elisabeth has a new passion in developing and training ponies.  Elisabeth days are spent running the Equine dental schedule and working with our horses.    Most recently started a Podcast called Out of The Arena with longtime friend Deb Morrison.
